The 2013 edition of the pbEncom Discover introduces powerful re-projection support for both large raster and ECW imagery, ensuring projection continuity through all of your GIS data types. Data digitisation is now even easier with many new capabilities, such as dynamic structural symbols, grouped pick lists and multi-table support.

Other instance of MapInfo software will be unistalled. So it will be impossible to use MapInfo as separate product. You'll can use MapInfo only in conjuction with Encom Discover module.
